Walk the streets with me … let’s wander

It’s a beautiful day in Alpharetta and Milton, so let’s get on our walking shoes and discover our new town!

There’s plenty of parking, whether you park in a designated area on the streets or in the parking garage, so take your time, leave your watch at home, but bring your camera or phone, because you will find some hidden gems and history along your walk today.

The fountain in Alpharetta’s City Center is a good place to start … then wander through the streets and find some of your own places you might want to wander into as the months and years lay ahead of you. Don’t forget to look up as you wander through the streets – the buildings have a lot of character!

After you’ve walked around these grounds and streets, come back on Saturday to City Center where you will find the farmers' market, local artists and great food, which will help you feel a part of your new town! Are you ready to just sit and be still and talk about your new discoveries? Then the fountain is a great place to do that, and maybe grab a to-go order from one of the many restaurants that line this area to start finding your new foodie habits for you and your family!

The historic silos in Milton are a must see! There used to be a farm here many years ago, and they kept the silos in remembrance of the farm. Milton is a unique small town, so make sure you take another afternoon to roam those streets as well. Drive slow so that you don’t miss any of the equestrian farms as well. You will want to pull over and just admire the beautiful horses, the fencing and the pastures. Bring your camera!

ENJOY YOUR JOURNEY!
