Meet Your Publisher

Stephen Crossley

Welcome to Arizona’s High Country! We’re Stephen and Darnell Crossley, publishers of BeLocal Arizona High Country. Serving the Quad Cities and Verde Valley, from Prescott to Sedona and everywhere between, BeLocal helps new residents feel at home faster by sharing authentic recommendations from locals who know and love this region.

Stephen brings decades of business leadership experience, while Darnell, a professional photographer and community connector, helps tell the stories that make our communities special. As recent newcomers ourselves, we know how valuable a trusted “short list” can be when settling into a new place. After falling in love with our High Country home, we wanted to help others discover its gems with far less trial and error.

Whether you’ve relocated here or are just visiting, we hope you’ll find our guide inviting, helpful, and a warm introduction to our High Country communities. We’re glad you’re here — please say hello if you see us around town.
