Our residents see a community that has always focused on the well being of our neighbors. We have some of the best schools in the state: Union County Public Schools. Waxhaw & Weddington have also been named some of the safest towns in North Carolina for many years in a row. No wonder so many people want to move here! We take pride in offering connection opportunities throughout the town, as we want to connect neighborhoods so we all feel like one community.

Waxhaw and Weddington are located nestled in the southwest corner of Union County. It is known as the Piedmont region of North Carolina. You will find yourself traveling in and out of South Carolina as it is really close to the border! There is easy access to major interstate highways, such as I-485, I-85 and I-77. Charlotte Douglas Airport is about a 40-minute ride. A beautiful ride to the Blue Ridge Mountains on the weekend is well worth the short drive. Do you enjoy the shoreline and beaches? Pack your car, and there are many beautiful beaches at the Carolina shores. We also have beautiful lakes near by; Lake Wylie and Lake Norman are a special time for family fun.
