Established as a non-profit in 1966, this organization operates on a foster-based model, hosting events commonly referred to as "Yappy Hour" while not maintaining a physical shelter.

Get involved by volunteering to read to shelter animals, adopting cats, dogs, hamsters, rabbits, guinea pigs, livestock, and reptiles, obtaining dog licenses, reporting concerns, reuniting lost pets, and supporting the cause through donations or fostering.

Save the Tail's Rescue Group is an all-volunteer foster-based nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. We do not have a shelter or facility, but we rely on our foster families to enable us to rescue dogs and puppies from rural areas and high-kill shelters.  We specialize in personal service, matching the right dog or puppy to you, your lifestyle, and your needs.
