1. Flat Fork Creek: 6141 E 101st St, Fishers
Flat Fork Creek Park offers a varied terrain that beckons exploration. At every elevation, visitors are treated to fresh perspectives. Tranquil creek waters and a 1.5-mile trail loop, adorned with an elevated boardwalk meandering through ancient trees, await discovery. Venture deeper, and you'll encounter three distinct treehouses and a progressive 2-mile bicycle course. Flat Fork Creek Park provides a sanctuary for all to unwind and forge a connection with nature.
2. Ritchey Woods: 10410 Hague Rd, Fishers
Visitors can explore nine diverse trails within the park, covering approximately 2.25 miles in total. These trails traverse a variety of stunning landscapes, including woodlands, prairies, wetlands, and a small swamp area. Additionally, nestled in the northeast section of the park, there lies the Osborn family pioneer graveyard, offering a historical glimpse above Cheeney Creek. Dog owners are reminded to keep their pets leashed at all times. Although a bicycle rack is available near the gravel parking area, bicycles are not permitted within the park.
3. Nickel Plate Trail: Enter at the Nickel Plate Station Plaza off of 116th in downtown Fishers to enter through the pedestrian bridge!
The Nickel Plate Trail, spanning 9.2 miles, is a planned pedestrian pathway tracing the path of the Nickel Plate rail line from 96th Street in Fishers to Pleasant Street in Noblesville. This initiative aims to link the downtown areas of both communities, fostering recreational and immersive experiences for Hamilton County residents and visitors along the trail.
4. Potters Bridge Trail: 19401 N Allisonville Rd, Noblesville
Potter’s Bridge Park, hosting the sole surviving covered bridge in Hamilton County, offers over 66 acres for visitors to discover. The bridge offers stunning vistas of the White River and serves as an ideal setting for capturing family memories. Alongside amenities such as a canoe launch, fishing areas, and a playground, the park is also an integral part of the White River Greenway, a 3.25-mile trail traversing Forest Park and leading to the Historic Noblesville Square, following the course of the White River.
5. White River Greenway Trail: Trailheads begin at Forest Park, Noblesville Courthouse, or Potter’s Bridge Park.
The Noblesville/White River Greenway Trails boast numerous intriguing discoveries amidst stunning landscapes in northwestern Hamilton County. The trail begins at the northwest intersection of Logan Street, which stretches east/west, and Eighth Street, which runs north/south, near the historic Hamilton County Courthouse. Adjacent to the old courthouse, the newer and more contemporary Hamilton County Courthouse stands proudly. Surrounding the square are various dining establishments and shops, with even more options in downtown Noblesville. Visitors will find bike racks, parking spaces, benches, and trash bins conveniently placed around the courthouse square. Additionally, the Museum of History is situated at the southwest corner of the courthouse.
6. Falls Park: 460 Falls Park Dr, Pendleton
Falls Park, situated in the southern part of Madison County, was designated as a public park in 1920, spanning across 284 acres. It encompasses the renowned "Falls" on Fall Creek, serving as a cornerstone of the community's identity over the years. The park's amenities, including playgrounds, a swimming pool, sports complex, and golf course, greatly enrich Pendleton's recreational landscape. Alongside these features, the trails, rental facilities, open-air shelters, and scenic ponds and creeks contribute to the diverse array of leisure options available in the area.
7. Fall Creek Woods Natural Area: 18399 Southeastern Pkwy, Fishers
The Fall Creek Woods Natural Area spans 80 acres and offers amenities such as hiking trails and opportunities for wildlife observation. Presently, the park features 3.2 miles of hiking trails. Operating seasonally, it welcomes visitors from dawn until dusk. Please be aware that the park may close during adverse weather conditions like flooding.

1. Finch Creek Park: 16233 Boden Rd, Noblesville
Opened in 2020, Finch Creek Park spans 200 acres and is situated in Wayne Township on the eastern side of Noblesville. Its acquisition represents Noblesville's commitment to furnishing accessible parks and recreational amenities for residents residing east of SR 32, particularly within Wayne Township. The park features four illuminated pickleball courts, a basketball court, a splash pad, and two playgrounds. Finch Creek Park offers two shelter areas flanking the restroom facility. The rental space, positioned on the eastern side of the building facing the splash pad, comprises 24 tables, a grill, a drinking fountain, and electricity. The western side, overlooking the playgrounds, is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
2. Billericay Park: 12690 Promise Road, Fishers
Billericay Park, is a hive of activity year-round, offering a variety of amenities from trails to playgrounds and baseball fields across its 44-acre expanse. It's a go-to spot for families, boasting a free splash pad operational from Memorial Day to Labor Day, along with three playgrounds and 1.75 miles of multi-use trails.For those seeking a peaceful retreat, the park's woodland area offers a picturesque escape, while the perimeter walking trail invites visitors to indulge in some ecotherapy amidst nature's embrace.
3. Dillon Park: 6001 Edenshall Ln, Noblesville
Covering approximately 77.5 acres of scenic terrain, Dr. James A. Dillon Park was officially founded on June 2, 2007, as a tribute to the legacy of Dr. James A. Dillon. Dr. Dillon, a prominent figure who dedicated nearly four decades to the Noblesville Parks and Recreation Board and practiced medicine in Noblesville for half a century, is honored through the park's name.
In addition to its rich history, Dillon Park serves as the venue for the Summer Concerts Series, adding vibrancy and entertainment to its already inviting atmosphere. Check out the disc colf course, too!
4. Memorial Park: 400 W Church St, Fortville
Situated at the confluence of Stottlemeyer Ditch and Jackson Ditch, this expansive community park boasts rolling hillsides and babbling streams, courtesy of its natural landscape. Abundant mature trees adorn the surroundings, creating a perfect setting for picnics, hikes, and leisurely strolls. Alongside its natural allure, the park offers various facilities for active recreation and playground equipment for visitors of all ages.
5. Roy G. Holland Memorial Park: 1 Park Dr, Fishers
Nestled at the core of Fishers, Roy G. Holland Memorial Park stands as the city's inaugural municipal green space, established in 1991. Spanning approximately 34 acres, this park caters to diverse age groups and abilities, boasting an array of amenities. From sports fields and basketball courts to playgrounds and picnic spots, its central location amid several neighborhoods renders it a bustling focal point year-round.
During the warmer months, youngsters can revel in aquatic fun at the splash pad, operational from Memorial Day to Labor Day, or partake in the exhilarating Monsoon Madness event featuring inflatable water slides. While older children frolic on the well-loved playground, toddlers have their own designated area for exploration and play.Accessible to all, Fishers Parks and facilities feature inclusive elements like a wheelchair-friendly glider and a friendship swing.
6. Geist Park, 10979 Florida Rd, Fishers
Geist Park is a birdwatcher's paradise! Situated by Fall Creek, it offers nature trails, wetlands, and fishing spots for outdoor enthusiasts. Theres also a playground and picnic tables that can be rented! Exciting additions are on the horizon! There's a new pedestrian bridge project for the Geist District that will involve restoring and relocating the Bell Ford Bridge from Jackson County near Seymour, Indiana. This bridge will provide a safe crossing over Fall Creek just west of Florida Road, connecting the Geist Greenway to Geist Park. So whether you're up for a hike, wildlife watching, playing, or just soaking in Indiana's fresh air, Geist Park is your go-to nature getaway!
7. Strawtown Koteewi Park: 12308 Strawtown Ave, Noblesville
Spanning nearly 800 acres, this expansive park offers over 9 miles of multi-use trails and extends along three miles of the White River. Its diverse landscape encompasses lush woodlands, historic wetlands, and vast prairies, providing habitat to a myriad of wildlife species.
The park provides a wide range of exhilarating activities, including treetop adventures, horseback riding, river excursions, downhill thrills, archery, and archaeological exploration.
8. Cyntheanne Park: 12383 Cyntheanne Road, Fishers
One of Cyntheanne Park's standout attributes is its dynamic landscape playground structure, designed to encourage unstructured play, constant movement, and physical activity for children of various ages. In addition to five versatile sports fields, the park offers a 1-mile paved multi-use trail and a natural grass pathway, ideal for maintaining an active lifestyle as the temperatures rise.
9. Forest Park: 701 Cicero Road, Noblesville
Nestled on 150 acres, Forest Park was established in December 1925 and is situated at 701 Cicero Road on State Road 19 North in Noblesville, Indiana. The park features a range of amenities including a 9-hole golf course, the Forest Park Inn, and Forest Park Lodge banquet facilities. Other attractions include a skate park, three playgrounds, seven shelters with grills, three volleyball sand lots, five picnic areas, two tennis courts, four pickleball courts, two horseshoe pits, a basketball court, and a bocce ball court.
10. Brooks School Park: 11780 Brooks School Road, Fishers
Brooks School Park stands out as one of the City’s most visited parks, renowned for its inclusive recreational opportunities in Fishers. This park spans 16.5 acres, providing a plethora of enjoyment for individuals of all ages and abilities.
Brooks School Park caters to a wide array of interests. The park features various athletic facilities, including an expansive open play area frequented for soccer and rugby matches, as well as a regulation-size basketball court. Notably, it is the sole park in Fishers to offer a horseshoe pit, adding to its appeal for visitors seeking varied recreational experiences.

Bring your own kayak or canoe and hop right in, you’ll float through a canal and then right into Geist Reservoir! Don’t forget your life jacket!
2. Geist Waterfront Park: 10811 Olio Rd, Fishers
Wheel Fun Rentals offers rentals of kayaks, life jackets and stand up paddle boards so you can paddle your own way through Geist Reservoir!
3. White River Canoe Company: 17180 River Rd, Noblesville
They offer kayak, canoe, and tube rentals! Come cool off with them in the summer and have excellent views of the White River!
4. Riverwood Canoe Landing: 20814 Riverwood Ave., Noblesville
Riverwood Canoe Landing offers convenient access to the White River for recreational activities. Located just north of 206th Street and the White River in Noblesville, Indiana, this launch site welcomes visitors with fishing gear, kayaks, or canoes. Additionally, visitors can enjoy observing the diverse wildlife, native trees, and plants along the riverbank.
5. Red Bridge Park: 1050 S. Pearl St., Cicero
A great spot to easily put in a kayak, canoe, or paddle board to get onto Morse Reservoir! Check out the Red Bridge marina while you’re here!

Spencer Farm is one of my family’s favorite places to visit in Noblesville. From spring to fall, you can pick a variety of seasonal crops such as strawberries, raspberries, sunflowers, grapes and mums. The farm store is filled with local produce and unique gifts, and there are free hayrides to the pumpkin patch every weekend during autumn. The winery on the property features live music on the weekends. All ages are welcome to come enjoy the music, tour the grounds, sample the wine or a charcuterie board, or bring your own picnic as you relax and enjoy some family time in a beautiful setting. - Katie H.
