USS Albacore Museum                                             569 Submarine Way, Portsmouth
Take a tour of a museum experimental submarine; that pioneered the teardrop hull form of modern submarines.  Recordings by former crew members tell about daily life and incidents aboard the sub.

American Independence Museum                              One Governor's Lane, Exeter     
A rare copy of the Declaration of Independence, known as a Dunlap Broadside, was found in the Ladd-Gilman house, 200 years after it arrived in Exeter. It is the centerpiece of the museum’s collection. The museum’s mission is “Connecting America’s Revolutionary past with the present.”
