1. Natsukashii – 14 N Cheyenne Ave, Tulsa, OK 74103

A Japanese restaurant in downtown Tulsa that’s great for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. While they’re known for their delicious gyoza, you HAVE to try the salmon hand rolls and specialty sodas. And whatever you do, don’t leave without getting the Pot de Crème. The space is open and inviting, you can dress up or keep it casual, and it’s one of my favorite places to go with friends. You can always count on a solid meal here. –Tarra

2. Boston Title & Abstract – 522 S Boston Ave Ste B100, Tulsa, OK, 74103

I recommend this downtown Tulsa speakeasy all the time for date night, but it’s also such a good spot for dinner with friends. Pro tip: make a reservation and get a complimentary glass of champagne. My favorite seat is at the bar, where you can watch the chefs cook right in front of you. Great cocktails and mocktails, seasonal gnocchi, and don’t skip the dessert sampler. You’ll forget you’re even in Tulsa. –Tarra

3. Super Secret Donuts – 1124 S Lewis Ave, Tulsa, OK 74104

Get up early on the weekend and grab some of Tulsa’s best donuts. They’re made with brioche dough, with flavors rotating monthly plus a surprise donut every weekend. They’re known for their Crème Brûlée donut, but I love that they come up with flavors you’d never expect to work on a donut, and somehow, they do. When I tell you these are some of the best donuts you’ll ever have, I need you to trust me. Don’t skip the sausage and brisket rolls either! Get there early because they DO sell out. –Tarra

4. Bowlcuts – 522 S Boston Ave Ste 104, Tulsa, OK 74103

Want the perfect fresh lunch or dinner? Head downtown to Bowlcuts. They’re newer to the downtown Tulsa area and serve healthy, fresh, made-to-order bowls. The Beefy Boi is my favorite, and they also offer meal prep and catering. Think Chipotle, but local, fresher, and way better. –Tarra

5. Luchador Coffee – 6808 S Memorial Dr #340, Tulsa, OK 74133 

Close to Woodland Hills Mall, Luchador Coffee brings a little California to Oklahoma. This mom-and-daughter-run coffee shop makes its own syrups and treats in-house, and you HAVE to get the house-made toasted marshmallow fluff on your coffee. The whole shop is luchador-themed, making it fun, unique, and definitely not your average coffee stop. It might just become your new favorite coffee shop. –Tarra

1. OMG Lounge – 11330 N Garnett Rd., Suite C, Owasso, OK 74055

OMG Lounge takes the top spot on my list because their burgers are packed with flavor and they’re always creating something different. The Dad Bod and Spicy Monkey are two of my favorites, but now I usually walk in and order the Chef’s Choice. You don’t pick the burger; you let the chef make whatever they want for you. Trust me, that’s the move. – Stephen

2. District Burger – 219 S Main St., Broken Arrow, OK 74012

District Burger serves locally sourced beef, but don’t overlook the fries. They’re cooked in beef tallow and are probably some of the best French fries in the Tulsa area. My go-to is the Oklahoma Onion Burger with two smash patties, grilled onions, American cheese, and their house burger sauce. – Stephen

3. Food Factory – 6217 S Mingo Rd., Tulsa, OK 74133 

Food Factory makes what I call a Venezuelan-style burger. These burgers are massive; you might need to unhinge your jaw to take the first bite. They pile on the toppings, the sauces are incredible, and every burger is packed with flavor. The Millionaire Burger was amazing and is the one I’d recommend trying first. – Stephen

4. Freddie’s Hamburgers – 9130 E 11th St., Tulsa, OK 74112

Sometimes you don’t need a crazy burger with a hundred toppings. Freddie’s serves an old-fashioned American smash burger that’s greasy in the best possible way. It has that classic diner-style flavor; it hits the spot every time, and Freddie’s has been serving Tulsa since 1954. 

5. Arnold’s Old Fashioned Hamburgers – 4253 Southwest Blvd., Tulsa, OK 74107

In my opinion, Arnold’s is one of Tulsa’s true burger staples. Located right off Route 66, Arnold’s serves a solid, old-fashioned diner-style burger even if it isn’t really inside a traditional diner anymore. It’s simple, classic, and exactly what you want when you’re craving a good hamburger. – Stephen

Bill’s Jump Burgers – 2002 E Admiral Blvd., Tulsa, OK 74110

A small, old-school Tulsa classic serving fresh Oklahoma onion burgers. Bring cash and expect a wait; it’s worth it. – Stephen

Hank’s Hamburgers – 8933 E Admiral Pl., Tulsa, OK 74115

A Tulsa landmark since 1949, serving classic Oklahoma-style burgers with onions grilled into the meat. – Stephen

Savoy Restaurant – 6033 S Sheridan Rd., Tulsa, OK 74145 

Savoy is one of my favorite breakfast spots in Tulsa because almost everything is made from scratch. Their massive cinnamon rolls are made fresh every morning, the orange juice is freshly squeezed, and the blueberry hotcakes are hard to beat. My favorite is the Chorizo Benedict, made with a house-made English muffin, house-made chorizo, freshly poached eggs, and hollandaise made by hand throughout the day. I gave it a 9.3, and yes, it’s worth the $17. 

Bramble – Breakfast & Bar - 121 N. Ash Ave., Broken Arrow, 74012 

Bramble is a must-visit breakfast and brunch spot in the Tulsa area with locations in the Rose District, Jenks Riverwalk, and the Pearl District. The Rose District location closes at 2 PM and reopens as a different restaurant at night (Shakey Jakes)—pretty cool, right? 

Chimera - 212 N Main St, Tulsa 74103

Known for their delicious coffee and prime location in the heart of downtown Tulsa, Chimera offers great breakfast options, including gluten-free and vegan choices. 

Dante’s Woodfire Pizza - 2113 E Admiral Blvd, Tulsa, OK 74110

Hidden behind Heirloom Rustic Ales, Dante’s Woodfire Pizza might just be Tulsa’s best-kept pizza secret. My foodie friends Nathan and Sarah swore it was the best in town, so we had to check it out. 

Bohemian Pizzeria - 818 E 3rd St, Tulsa, OK 74120

Looking for a great vibe and amazing pizza? Bohemian Pizzeria is the spot. 

Malfi - 3410 S Peoria Ave, Suite 200, Tulsa, OK 74105

A new McNellies concept, Malfi is both delicious and affordable. 

918 Maples Tacos & Cantina – 317 S Trenton Ave., Tulsa, OK 74120

If you love Birria, 918 Maples needs to be on your list. Their birria tacos might honestly be my favorite I’ve ever had. The meat is incredibly tender, the tortillas have the perfect crisp and dipping them into that rich consommé is freaking game over. Their massive Birria Pizza is also worth trying, but don’t skip the smooth and creamy horchata—it’s easily one of my top three. 

La Coshi - 5104 S Mingo Rd, Tulsa, OK 74146

This pink food truck located at 51st and Mingo serves the best quesabirria tacos in Tulsa—hands down. I also love their chile quiles and tortas. You can't go wrong with anything at La Coshi. 

Tacos Mezcal (TXMZ) - 39 E 18th St, Tulsa, OK 74119

There are so many dishes I love at TXMZ! Not only is the food amazing, but they have a wonderful patio, and the interior is beautiful. Be sure to try their elote and guacamole, and don’t miss their ceviche. They also offer vegan and gluten-free options, and let me tell you, the beet tacos are wonderful. 

T-Johnny’s - 309 E Oak St, Coweta, OK 74429

Authentic Louisiana seafood, with crawfish brought in twice a week. Their sassy plates are out of this world—I love the one with crab, drenched in seasoned butter. 

Gibby’s South in Your Mouth - 520 W Will Rogers Blvd, Claremore, OK 74017

If you're on the hunt for authentic Cajun food in Oklahoma, Gibby’s South in Your Mouth in Claremore needs to be on your list. They serve up Southern comfort food with a Creole kick, and let me tell you—it does not disappoint. 

Nola’s - 1334 E 15th St, Tulsa, OK 74120

Whether you're craving Cajun food for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, Nola’s has you covered. They're most known for their Voodoo Chicken, but if you love a good pork chop, be sure to check theirs out! 

Sisserous - 107 N Boulder Ave C, Tulsa, OK 74103

Located in the heart of downtown Tulsa, Sisserous offers some of my favorite dishes. It’s a great spot for a nice night out or a casual lunch at the bar as well.
